In the summer of 2006, AccessFlow originally approached PG&E about extending energy incentives to its clients that virtualize. Among the first submittals was 1800RADIATOR, headquartered in Benicia, California. This organization was a perfect candidate not only because CTO Mike Carvalho had the vision to virtualize nearly all of its production and DR servers, but also because it was a lack of power availability that was a primary driver to virtualize in the first place.
